Final Version Feedback
Megan posed the video onto facebook and tagged myself, Charlotte and Tolga so all the people on our facebook could see. This print screen is showing you what people said, mostly everyone said they enjoyed it but thr first comment by Jack Coribel gives us the kind of feedback we need.

Final Edited Music Video...
Here is our final version of Dragonfly-Ready To Go, it has been uploaded to youtube this is where i got the video from to upload it onto my blog. Although we have had to change a few things and it was a long process i am happy with the end result. We have also put in a variety shots and effects which is part of the editing process.

Logo.
This is our logo that was created within the group for our band Dragonfly. As our band name is Dragonfly we wanted to keep it going in the band hence the reason why we have a image of a dragonfly, also so people would know who we are when they see the logo. Due to us being a girl band the colours pink and black were chosen as pink brings girlies to it and black brings a bit of edge.
The logo will be included onto the posters which i need to add onto.

Posters
The poster is the poster that i have created for myself and the group. The picture i have chosen i took from my digi pack, i like this image as they both include the signature look of our band which is the scarfs. I have also included the main details you need on the poster which is promoting our album such as our band name, album name, album release date, album cover, record label and other logos such as itunes, Facebook etc because that shows it is to download or where you can find us.
Feedback - First Screening
The video will be uploaded soon of our first screening which was shown to the class and teachers. Here are the feedback sheets given back, taken from it we have positives and negatives.
Positives...
- Our performance in the music video was good and the image of the band
- Pace of editing was great
- Camera movement was good
- The effects and colour of the music video was nice
- Cinematography worked successfully
- The documentary shots in the video worked and looked really good
- Car shots looked good
Negatives...
- Lip syncing in the video could be adjusted a bit better
- There are gaps in the video that run within the video
- A couple of shots were too long and need to be cut down
- To tidy up the cuts that need to be done
Typography
Here are text ideas that we got from Dafont, in the group we have discussed what typography we would like to use for our digi packs and posters and decided the second and third. They are both the same text just shown how it would look like as our band name and the name of the album, the group wanted a text that wasn't too harsh but was elegant and still had an edge to it so people would recognise us through the typography also.
Digi Pack.
As you can see my digi pack is set outside as these are pictures taken from the photo shoot we done, I have edited a couple of the pictures mainly the front cover as that will be the first image everyone will see. I included two pictures of the scarfs as this is our trade mark, and are wearing them in each image. Having the images set outside i think is a nice setting, and the picture on the bottom left could come across as we are walking into our future. I am pleased with the finished product of my digi pack, even though it took me sometime as i am not great on photoshop.

Today our media teacher looked at what we got and said we can improve and need a narrative to our music video. So we discussed ideas to what can be achievable to do in the half term, which will be the group recording more shots based on the narrative. The idea will be us writing the song and us chilling out, so it leads up to the performance. We are still going to keep the footage we've got, we just need that little bit more to make our music video look more realistic.
As this is the last lessons before we break up for half term, the things to do in that week is to shoot more shots based on what i spoke about in the above. A shooting day is still to be finalized due to finding a day that everyone is free.

Editing!
Editing.
These are screen shots of the editing process in movie maker. This was the performance shot and the first thing we started editing, we have done the first chorus which personally i think looks good.
Myself, Megan, Charlotte and Tolga have added location shots and it is slowly getting there, but still up for improvement also to be ready for the first screening which will be the first day back from half term. As a group we are hoping to atleast have all the shots we need for the screening.
For Wednesday 13th Februarys lesson we will continue to edit and finishing off our digi packs, due to not being able to use movie maker in the half term for our music video and myself not having the software for my digi pack.

Photo Shoot for Digi Pack
DIGI PACK PHOTOS.
These are a variety of different photos taken from the photo shoot at Danson Park. As you will see there are individual and group pictures, we also try incorporating the scarfs as they are our signature look. A positive to taking so many photos is we have many to work with and also play around on photoshop with effects and colour.
Below are the pictures being experimented with different effects.

Filming...
Filming.
Originally we were meant to film at Greenwich, this is no longer our location for filming. The difficulties with filming in Greenwich was getting there and also where we needed other people being our fans in the video getting them there too. We thought of another location which was in a close near my house.
On Friday 11th January we started filming in our chosen location, we achieved what we wanted and needed this involved us miming the chorus and verses. Although Megan is the lead singer we filmed all three of us miming the song so we had plenty of footage to work with. As well as this we filmed shots of us walking down the road which is our opening of our music video so this had to be done. A negative to filming on this day was the weather, it was very cold which disturbed filming.
Thursday 17th January we filmed after school that we organized with a drama teacher so we could use his room, the teacher agreed. Also we done the same with the music department so we could borrow a drum kit, bass, guitar and microphone, we asked a teacher in this department and he agreed to letting us borrowing them. The filming for the performance shot was successful and it has currently been edited very well by Megan and Charlotte.

We showed footage to our teacher from the 11th January which was the location shot near my house. We are going to reshoot this because of our costume choose, our teacher said it was too casual. This is the main reason why we are reshooting.

Digi Pack Idea?
This photo is taken from the pictures from my last blog post which were from the photo shoot we did. This particular picture we liked as a group, Megan used Instagram the phone editing tool, also the positioning of us in this looks good but i think it would be better if Charlotte was a little higher up. As it would be a CD cover the border that has been added makes it look professional.
Yesterday on the Thursday 31st January me and the group went to Danson Park to take some more pictures for our Digi Packs. They came out very well and myself, Charlotte, Megan and Tolga were pleased with them, we went to different areas of the park so we had a variety of shots to work with. I personally think this photo shoot this time round went better than the last. Photos from this day should be uploaded to the blog soon.
